Refund policy

Every I Wanna Journal piece is handmade, often from limited leftover leather, so we take care that what you see is what you receive. If something isn't right, here is how returns work.

1. Ready-made items: 14-day right of withdrawal

If you live in the European Union, you can withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. The 14 days start on the day you (or someone you name, other than the carrier) receive the goods. If one order arrives in several parcels, the period starts when you receive the last one.

2. Sending the item back

Please send the item back within 14 days of telling us you are withdrawing, to:

You pay the cost of sending the item back. Please pack it carefully and use a tracked service.

3. Your refund

We refund the price of the item and the original standard delivery cost within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal message. We may wait to send the refund until we have received the item back, or until you send us proof that you have shipped it, whichever comes first.

The refund goes to the payment method you used, at no extra cost to you. If you chose a more expensive delivery option than our standard one, we refund only the cost of standard delivery.

Please handle the item only as you would in a shop, to check what it is and how it works. You are responsible for any loss in value caused by handling beyond that, for example writing in a notebook insert, or wear and damage to the leather.

4. Custom-made items

Journals made to your own specifications (for example, a custom order we agreed on with you by message, with the leather, size or details you chose) are made just for you. For these items the right of withdrawal does not apply. We will always tell you before you pay if an item is custom-made.

5. Gift cards

You can cancel an unused digital gift card within 14 days of buying it and receive a full refund. Once a gift card has been used, in whole or in part, it cannot be refunded.

6. Damaged, faulty or wrong items

If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or is not what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible at iwannajournalshipping@gmail.com, with photos of the item and the packaging. This helps us solve it quickly. In these cases we cover the cost of sending the item back, and we will repair or replace it or give you a refund.

All our products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity under Spanish law. This return policy does not limit your legal rights as a consumer.

7. Natural character of leather

Each journal is handmade. Small differences in the colour, texture, grain and marks of the leather are part of the material and of what makes every piece unique. They are not defects.

8. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges, as most of our pieces are one of a kind. If you would like a different item, please return the original as described above and place a new order.
